Bristol City Football Investments plc was set up by Gavin Burnell and Ian Anthony.

Gavin, aged 30, is Bristol-born and his brother Joe used to play for BCFC. He focuses on investing in and raising money for small companies and floating them on the stockmarket.
He joined Ruegg & Co, a corporate finance boutique, in 2001 and is responsible for equity sales and maintaining client relationships.
Gavin was a founder and Non-Executive director of Stratex International plc (AIM:STI), an AIM-traded resources company with gold exploration properties in Turkey. He was a Non-Executive Director of Iceni Oil and Gas Limited, a private company with North Sea oil exploration projects that he helped to fund. It was recently sold to Bridge Resources Corp (TSX:BUK) a company listed on the Canadian stock exchange.
Gavin is a Non-Executive director of Globo plc, an AIM-listed software company with operations in Greece which was purchased by way of reverse takeover in December 2007. Gavin holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of the West of England. |

Ian, aged 43, is a chartered accountant, qualifying with Ernst and Young in 1990. He then pursued a career in investment banking working for Paribas Capital Markets, Bankers Trust, Deutsche Bank and Barclays Capital.
Ian is currently Chief Financial Officer for AIM-listed Horizonte Minerals Plc and Finance Director of Silvrex Ltd, a private mineral exploration company which intends to float on the stock market in the near future. He also runs his own consultancy, IA Consultants Limited and is director of both a Bulgarian Property company and Woodland Capital Limited – an investment company. Ian holds an honours degree in Banking and Finance.
